This is not the amazing tulip garden in Baltimore, this is the fabulous UofM Arboretum just out of Minneapolis. My mom and grandma came out for a week long visit to see mainly myself and the kids. We ate lots of good food, went shopping and enjoyed all the fun outdoorsy things that MN has to offer. I know that I kind of posted a ton of pictures but I just love to look at the tulips and other flowers. I don't know what it is but for some reason my kids refuse to look at the camera when I take pictures or they make a scary face once I have eye contact with them. So, I only have these pictures of everyone staring at the ground. Hopefully they will cave and look into the camera sometime before those teenage years.
TOOT MY HORN BEEP! BEEP! Yes, I was the town hero for a day or just for five minutes. I was loading my kids into the car when I kept hearing a crackling sound outside, so I looked just outside of my garage and saw flames across the street coming out of my neighbors balcony. My mom called for help while I banged on the neighbors doors like an idiot for people to get out. Soon it was obvious that no people were home. This little neighborhood is so quiet that I wonder how long it would be before anyone noticed the burning balcony. It is scary when you live in a building where you share a wall with other people and you feel like you have no control over things like this.
Rex is thankful for his ears. He has this amazing sunbeam teacher that goes way beyond what is expected of her each week.
Yea Nanci! What a team you and your mom are at single-handedly saving the neighborhood.
It's so fun to see your posts. Your kids are so cute. The one of them looking into the water is just the sweetest . . . and I love the one of them looking at the geese (?), too.
I love Rex's facial expression in the first picture. The flowers are so pretty. It is nice to see that the snow is gone and very green grass has grown. I'm glad no one was in that burning house at the time. good thing you guys were outside, who knows what else that fire could have done.
Great pics!!! I love the tulips! Rex and Ella are really growing up. We miss you guys tons and still talk about you all the time. Sending you lots of love!!!
Love the ears, Rex!! Those pictures are all so beautiful. I love flowers growing nicely outside.
So... do we need to rename you Super-Nanci?? That would be so nerve-wracking for me! We share a wall with another family right now, and the other day Sarah said she wanted to burn our house down because we don't like it. I told her we can't, and when she inquired about the reason, I had to tell her that then we wouldn't have anywhere to live. She said, "it's okay, we'll just buy a new house!" So then I had to tell her that her friend (neighbor) Lily wouldn't have a place to live if we burned our house down either. That changed her mind about the whole burning thing. I swear. She's definitely a Farnsworth daughter!
WHAT?! You tease us by saying that you had your Mom and Granny up there for the whole week........and NO PICS?!? I heard Granny got sick up there, cuz she is still not feeling well. The tulip pics are so pretty! I am jealous cuz I LOVE tulips!
Beautiful pics of the tulips. Rex and Ella are darling. I really love the ears from Primary. How creative. I hope the weather continues to be enjoyable!
We have been married for 11 years and have 4 kids Rex, Ella, Olivia, and Logan. In those 11 years we moved 7 times and lived in 4 different states. We are enjoying our adventures as Will's XYZ+ years of school and residency bring us here, there, and everywhere.
