Cold Stiff

Because of the low temps last week we thought that we would try a few of those weird Minnesotan things. We froze the kids pajamas outside (it only took 3 minutes). They thought that it was hilarious. We also tried to freeze water in mid-air.

Our first and last attempt to throw boiling water in the air and watch it turn to ice. It was -24 outside and our little experiment did not work. It would have been really cool if we knew exactly what we were doing. I heard that someone used a banana to hammer in a nail. Oh, the things we do when it's so darn cold outside.

Meet our new friends, Ice Cube and Ice T

Hi-ho, hi-ho, off to work I go.....

We stuck the pajamas straight up in the snow to make them look like little children. I know it sounds a little creepy, but it was all to just get a good laugh out of the kids.

It was a bummer that it was still -22 outside when we took these pictures, so we had to hurry and look at the pj's and get the heck inside.

I love it! That looks like a lot of fun, well except for the freezing cold!

Oh Nanci, what a FUNNY post. I have never heard of the pajama idea and enjoyed it as much as the kids, I think. What a great idea to celebrate the cold.
