Rex has this problem where he enjoys taking the "child proof" knob off the inside of his bedroom door. Immediately following that he opens his door and laughs and walks out of his room. I don't know how he is able to break apart the "child proof" knob but the point is that he can do it. We also have one on our inside front door which no adults (other than Will and myself) can figure out how to use it. I went to a few stores to find something better but I can only find what Rex can destroy! Does anybody have any good ideas?

none. i have a terrible time getting them apart! that's impressive he can do that. avery can open them, but not take them apart...
That's funny- Just consider him above average intelligence!
I have heard of people changing the doorknob around- so you can lock it from the outside.
I have seriously considered doing this. In fact, I threatened my kids with it just last night...
You have to love little boys. It was a quite momentous day for Austin when he figured out how to break free. He was so proud.
