RUSSIAN GRIZZLY BEAR COAST
This exhibit just opened and it was the main attraction at the zoo. Sadly for us the bears were asleep when we walked by. On our way out they were wrestling with each other in the water and there were speakers near us so we could hear them growling.
FINALLY
Over the past few years (3 1/2 to be exact) I have tried to get Rex to poke his head through these cut-outs that are at just about any farm/fair/zoo. Today he finally agreed to do it. Although with his shades on, he looks like a teenager instead of a little boy.
SHARK TANK
This is an under water view of the shark tank. Rex really could not get enough of if. The fish and sharks all swam close to the glass.
This little girl has no fear or reservations about any animal or creep crawly thing. If it moves and has a pulse, Ella will quickly poke her hand out to touch it.
The sign on the cage reads, "MINI REX RABBITS." Of course Rex was thrilled to see that. He immediately suggested that the sign could say "Ella Rabbits."

We are totally into animals at our house and try to go to the zoo at least twice a year. The zoos I can handle, but Go Diego's high-pitched voice is grating on my last nerve.
