Ugh!

We received a wonderful package in the mail recently that also contained some styrofoam peanuts. Yesterday I was trying to fill out my Christmas cards when in the background I could hear Rex and Ella giggling and laughing continuously. I was relieved to have some time to myself to fill out the addresses so I did not go and check on them. When I was finished I found white styrofoam crumbled up pieces everywhere. This stuff is about as easy to clean up as glitter. Everytime I tried to sweep up the mess, the styrofoam pieces would magicially move up my arm, stick to my fingers, and cling to anything except the trashcan. Later that night we had to go around and vacuum up every spot that Rex and Ella touched. I think next time I will think twice before giving them a box with any packaging materials to play with.

Yes, so I removed my last comment, but it was by accident...and it was actually kind of long and I know I won't be able to write it again.

Basically, the same thing happened to me last week. The blasted things finally made it into the trash can in the garage, only to spill a second time when the bag they were in burst open. I had thrown another bag full of garbage on top of the one containing the peanuts, and Whoosh! Out came the cursed little things. The second time I just pushed them out of the garage and into the snow. I figured it served them right.

Oh what a mess! The things that happen when we need just a few more minutes to ourselves!

Thanks for sharing what it looked liked when I was talking to you on the phone. I had a good chuckle knowing that Mia might do the same thing if left to her own devices. Have a grand time in AZ!!!

I love the picture! That is awesome! Note to self...no packaging for Katelyn.
